Thank You Mom!

I attended church the night before Mother's Day.  Before the minster delivered his sermon on Prayer, "Teach Us to Pray,"  a video celebrating motherhood from FamilyShare was shown to the congregation. From the first sentence - "Every time a child is born, so is a mother" - to the last two - "Life doesn’t come with a manual, it comes with a mother. This Mother’s Day thank the women who have loved, mentored, and mothered you" - this video captured the essence of motherhood as well as any words, images (still or moving) that I've read or seen.

Great words matched with great images are so powerful.   Happy Mother's Day to my mom, Clara Gaines, who is in the above picture that was taken by my shutterbug loving dad.  My mom will soon be 90 years old. She is definitely a woman who still loves me, mentored and mothered me to death. Thank You Mom!
